readersRemember, your challenge over the holidays is to find a really unusual/interesting place to do some reading.  Don’t forget to get someone to take a photo of you!

A few weeks ago Margaret Rose and her husband came into the school to talk to P4-7 about a village in Pakistan. They had been helping to build a hospital and a school because the village didn’t have any proper classrooms or medication.  The Pupil Council thought about what everyone could do as a fundraiser and we came up with a pyjama party.

Thank you for taking part.  We had lots of fun wearing our pyjamas to school and we made a total of £121.12.

Last Friday we visited P6/7 to find out what they have been doing in their topic. We also took pictures of their displays and we interviewed Danni.
“We have been making endangered animals for our rainforest topic. There are monkeys, frogs, birds and jaguars, butterflies, sloths and many more. We also made trees for them to hang on. For our Homecoming Scotland topic we completed a worksheet about Oor Wullie and Scots language. We painted a picture of him. We also made pop out hands in art.” Danni
